2016.10.29. We were invited to play in Festival Ecológico – Cali.
2016.10.15-18. We were invited to take a workshop on Improvisation with Signs with Santiago Vázquez in Bogotá. The workshop took place under the MICSUR (Cultural Industries from the South-Market) meeting. The event was closed with a concert by Santiago Vázquez and several national bands, among them, La Percumotora.
2016.09.30. Universidad Santiago de Cali. Concert for the Jazz and Blues Festival.
2016.09.22. Universidad Javeriana. Concert: “Bailao”. The show is made for free dancing styles with 100% improvised music!
2016.09.12. Fred Barrera leads the first worksop on Improvisation with Signs for vocal ensembles in Cali. The workshop was given for Universidad Javeriana’s choir
2016.08.18. Centro Cultural Colombo Americano. La Percumotora was invited to participate in an academic performance for teachers of The Jamey Aebersold Jazz Studies from Louisville University – USA. The event was part of the International Blues and Folk festival – Cali. It provides a space to show diferent musical proyects around improvisation in Cali.
